Smash the mirror
This makes me feel ashamed of my whining, navel-gazing rant.
Harold Pinter, playwright and 2005 Nobel prize winner, gave an incredible acceptance speech, despite being confined to a wheelchair and barely able to speak because of recent illness. Once you get past his opening comments about his own work, you get to an incredible critique of American foreign policy.
Truly courageous are those who dare to speak truth to power.
