Please explain the fact that he's your hero for getting punched in the face (as an aside, according to most player accounts, he's the most hated guy in baseball outside of Bonds; guys around the league generally admitted that he had it coming).
And, yes, I must admit that the Cubs do indeed suck ass this year. Back to the drawing board again...

Barrett was clearly in the wrong during the fight, but I get the feeling he was the recipient of several anonymous donations of dinner, scotch, and other gifts for socking AJP.
I love him because he's hated for no good reason. He's a victim of reputation. I mean really, can you give me one good story about why he's apparently so hated? I hear rumors about the shit he talks behind the plate. I hope they're all true. That's what a catcher is supposed to do. What? You guys afraid of a little trash talking? Pussies! Bonds is hated 'cause he's a cheater; A.J. is hated because he's a competitor. He gives it 100% all the time, and doesn't let anybody get in the way of winning. If he were wearing blue and red, you'd be worshipping him too. He's exactly the kind of player you love having on your team for the same reasons you hate playing him.
