New blog name?
Due to the smashing success of this little blog ;)~, the idea is being tossed around to start up a group blog. That way, the occasional posters can do there thing with little overhead, and I can maintain and keep it alive with my voluminous braindroppings.
Only problem is, we need a name. Can anybody suggest a name?
My suggestion was "The Analog Hole", as it's geeky with perverted overtones, but I thought that might be too "me".

DISCLAIMER: The above suggestions were just me playing with words and being feces-ish...not to be taken as serious entries. I saved the honest suggestion for the email thread (old glory hole-TOGH).
I mentioned Jack Abramoff in that email to hint at one of the metaphors I was getting at with TOGH: the perverse relationship between big money,lobyists and lawmakers. I'll let you decide who is on which side of the hole...but I really think our representatives are on the mouth side :)
Another read on the metaphor could be something akin to the "coalition of the willng" idea. The US sticks its influence, power and money (sorry to be redundant) in the hole to see who bites (so to speak).
Also, I kinda liked how the metaphor can play out in the context of a blog. :)
Sexual references aside, 'glory hole' can also refer to, "A colloquial term for any small room or cupboard, usually containing odds and ends." (per wikipedia). Which can be a 'clean' interpretation of a blog.
Finally- Mike: Sorry if I didnt include you in the email thread...I can forward you what has been said if you would like.
